Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies YouOps uses, why, and how you can control them.

1. Our approach: minimal by design

YouOps follows a minimal-data philosophy. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, social media embeds, or A/B testing SDKs that profile your behavior. Our website is statically generated and served via Firebase Hosting with caching at the CDN edge — no tracking cookies are required to deliver content.

2. Technical and essential storage

The only client-side storage we use is React in-memory state for the locale toggle (EN/ES preference during the current session) and form-field state. This is not a persistent cookie and is cleared the moment you close the tab. Firebase Hosting and the CDN may set standard HTTP cache-control headers in your browser; these are used solely for performance and do not identify you.

3. Analytics

We currently do not run any web analytics SDK on this site. We rely on Firebase Hosting's aggregated, anonymous infrastructure logs (request counts, response codes, cached vs. miss) to verify availability and performance. These logs do not identify individual visitors.

4. Third-party content

We do not embed third-party videos, social widgets, or trackers. Icons used (Lucide React) and the Inter font (Google Fonts CSS) are loaded as static assets at build time — no real-time tracking request to third parties is generated by your visit.

5. Your controls

Because we do not set persistent tracking cookies, no cookie banner is required or shown. You can clear your browser's local storage at any time through your browser's developer tools. This will reset the locale preference to English (default) on your next visit.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever need to introduce persistent cookies or third-party analytics, we will update this policy in advance and display a visible banner on the home page. Under those circumstances, the 'Last updated' date will reflect the revision.
